Modules

Everything a phis Site shows comes from a Module -- including what phis ships itself. There is no built-in layer a Module could not reach.

What a Module brings

Pages with their own addresses, Widgets, Themes and navigation entries, each declared as a small typed record. A Site installs a Module as an ordinary package and activates it for the Areas it should serve: the public Site, the App, the Admin or the Builder.

Swap any part

A Module can stand in for another at the same address. Switch it off and the one underneath is there again, with nothing to restore. The start page, the contact page and the other Pages of the public base are replaceable the same way.

Readable for people and agents

What the Builder shows and what an agent reads over the API are the same records. A Page, a navigation entry or a Theme can be added or changed by either, and the other sees it.
